Canberra Southern Cross Club helps ZCCB provide kitchen packs to domestic violence survivors.

Zonta Club of Canberra Breakfast (ZCCB) is very grateful to the Canberra Southern Cross Club for their $2,500 community grant for the purchase of 10 Home Starter Packs.  The Home Starter Packs contain the basic necessities for setting up a home when women transition from a refuge and into social housing, thereby helping them to restart their lives with a sense of dignity and purpose.

ZCCB has been providing Home Starter Packs to women leaving ACT refuges for many years.  In this past year, ZCCB has delivered 99 Packs, which is a 50% increase from previous years.  The CSCC grant will enable us to meet this increasing demand.

Storage King provides storage space to support the ZCCB activities.

Zonta Club of Canberra Breakfast (ZCCB) is grateful to Storage King for their ongoing support.
The storage space again means we can extend our services.
Storage King generously offers additional storage to accommodate the donations for our annual Pre Loved Fashion Sale. This enables storing the clothes and accessories whilst we sort through them and prepare them for sale in our Pre Loved Fashion Sale. Funds rasied by the Pre Loved Fashion sale support the kitchen packs and birthing kits. The Pre Loved Fashion Sale also helps minimise fast fashion and helps our planet.
